Primary bronchial scleroma in a young boy

Rhinoscleroma or scleroma has a world wide distribution. The disease usually affects the nasal mucosa, hence the name rhinoscleroma. Rarely, it may start in other parts of the body without the involvement of the nasal mucosa. Primary involment of the bronchi is very rare. The present communication puts on record a case of primary scleroma of the left bronchus.
