Segmentation of SAR image using statistical separability rule

In order to develop fully the application of Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) data, special image analysis techniques are required. In the present paper, radar image analysis has been done on the basis of segmentation algorithm. The segmentation algorithm presented in the paper is based on local separability measure. The results are verified with known ground cover features.
