Production of hydrogen using immobilizedrhodospirillium rubrum

Abstract

A standard method for assayingRhodospirillium rubrum for hydrogen production with malate rather than pyruvate was developed. It was also found thatR. rubrum could produce H2 over extended, periods of time when immobilized.
