Clinical and biological significance of the hyperplastic polyps of the stomach

Summary

The biological and clinical significance of the hyperplastic polyps of the stomach is discussed. The review of the Literature and Authors’ experience suggest that most, even if not all, polyps are benign structures without marker value of gastric cancer.
