Summary
Twelve patients with choriocarcinoma were treated by surgery followed by chemotherapy with oral methotrexate. Nine patients had complete remission and were alive more than one year following this mode of treatment. Hence we conclude that methotrexate combined with surgery has a definite role in the treatment of choriocarcinoma.
