The amplification factor of a triode of non-concentric cylindrical configuration

Summary

In this paper, after making a conformal transformation from planez to planew, wherew = (za)/z, and applying Dow’s method, a formula is derived for the amplification factor of such a cylindrical triode in which the perpendicular cross-sections of the anode-, grid- and cathode-cylinders are non-concentric circles. Approaching the concentric position, the expression tends to the concentric one.
