CuII and PdII complexes of 5-amino-4-arylazo-3-phenyl pyrazole and 3,5-diamino-4-phenylazopyrazole have been prepared in EtOH. Probable structures are suggested in which the chelating centers being the nitrogens of the azo group and of the exocyclic amino groups chelate to the metal ion.
