Summary
Alternative very transparent expressions for the forward complex amplitude for Delbrück scattering, in the form of a single integral representation and in the form of power series expansions in the photon energy are derived. In particular, the series expansions, obtained by using the method of the Mellin transform, are rapidly convergent and are found to be very convenient for numerical calculations. Tables of numerical results are also given.

Si ricavano espressioni particolarmente semplici per l'ampiezza del “Delbrück scattering” in avanti, nelle due forme alternative di una rappresentazione integrale e di sviluppi in serie rispetto all'energia del fotone diffuso. In particolare gli sviluppi in serie, ottenuti applicando il metodo della trasformata di Mellin, sono rapidamente convergenti e possono utilmente essere usati per calcoli numerici. Sono inoltre fornite alcune tavole di risultati numerici.
