Zusammenfassung

Diese vergleichende Untersuchung über Embolisation differenter hepatischer Gefäße bei Hunden mitBletilla striata und Gelfoam ergab, daßBletilla striata als Embolisationsmaterial bessere Erfolge zeigt als Gelfoam. Die Mechanismen der Embolisation mitBletilla striata sind folgende; 1)Bletilla striata wird nicht leicht von Geweben absorbiert; 2)Bletilla striata bewirkt mechanische Blockierung; 3)Bletilla striata beeinflußt das Gerinnungssystem und das Antikoagulationssystem; 4)Bletilla striata kann die Gefäßwandschädigen und dadurch sekundäre Blockierung auslösen.

Abstract

Bletilla striata and gelfoam were used as embolizing agents for the embolization of various hepatotropic vessels in dogs. The results proved thatBletilla striata was superior to gelfoam. The mechanisms of embolization byBletilla striata are attributable to following factors; non—absobent property, machanical obstruction; effects on coagulative and auticoagulative systems and secondary obstruction resulted from the injury to wall of blood vessels.
