Abstract
Acupmoxi therapy, retention-enema and oral administration of herbal medicine were combined to treat 86 patients with chronic ulcerative colonitis. A comparison between pretreatment and posttreatment was made by fibercolonoscopy. The results showed that the short-term cure occurred in 36 cases, effectiveness in 46 cases and ineffectiveness in 4 cases, the total effective rate being 95.3%.
