Constraints on supersymmetric parameters from muon magnetic moment

Summary

We analyse the supersymmetric contributions to (g−2)μ taking into account the smuon mixing and also the neutralino and chargino mixings. From the experimental value of (g−2)μ we derive meaningful constraints on supersymmetric parameters (masses and mixing angles).

Riassunto

Confrontando con i dati sperimentali il momento magnetico del muone, calcolato in un modello supersimmetrico, tenendo conto oltre che del mixing degli smuoni anche di quello nel settore dei neutralini e in quello dei chargini, si deducono condizioni vincolari significative sui parametri supersimmetrici che intervengono nel problema, cioè le masse degli smuoni, del fotino, dell’higgsino, dello sneutrino e una «massa» che parametrizza il mixing smuonico.

Мы анализируем суперсимметричные вклады в (g−2)μ. Из экспериментальной величины (g−2)μ мы выводим физические ограничения на суперсимметричные параметры (массы и углы смешивания).
