Abstract
Rapid solidification of Nd-Fe-B alloy produces highly stable, isotropic powder which can be processed directly into bonded magnets or by hot deformation, formed into fully dense anisotropic magnets with energy product exceeding 40 MGOe. The properties of isotropic and anisotropic magnets made using Nd-Fe-Co-B alloys are discussed in this article.
