Application of 3D WKB to scattering problems

In this work we present an extension of the 3D WKB approximation to include terms of orderh2. This method can be easily implemented for scattering problems. We give a general prescription to calculate the crosssection up to the second order inh. As an illustration of the technique we calculate the cross-section for the Coulomb and the α/r2 potentials.
