  11. Si può ancora notare, che il calore di trasformazione del HgI2.2(AgI) obbedisce alla legge che il Kopp ha trovato per il calore di fusione dei corpi non metallici. Se infatti si fa la differenza fra il calore specifico del corpo sopra 51e e il medio calore specifico da 0° a 50°, e se questa differenza si moltiplica per 160+50, si trova il valore 2,078 molto vicino al valore di λ. Ma questa è solo una fortuita coincidenza, perchè la stessa legge non si verifica per gli altri joduri doppi.
