Summary
Results of a study on the uncertainties of and possible improvements in determination of πN scattering amplitudes atp lab=6.0 GeV/c are given. The precision gained in determining the helicity amplitudes by more accurate measurements of various observables is discussed. The method presented here can be adapted for a study at regions of energy and momentum transfer different from those covered in this paper.

Si forniscono i risultati di uno studio sugli errori e sui possibili miglioramenti nella determinazione dell'ampiezza della diffusione πN ap lab=6.0 GeV/c. Si discute sulla migliore precisione ottenuta determinando le ampiezze di elicità con misurazioni più accurate delle varie grandezze osservabili. Si può usare il metodo qui descritto per ricerche in regioni di energia e transferimento d'impulso diverse da quelle ipotizzate in questo lavoro.

Приводятся результаты исследования неопределенностей и возможные улучщения в определении амплитуд πN рассеяния сp лав=6.0 ГеВ/с. Обсуждается увеличение точности при определении спиральных амплитуд за счет более точных измерений резличных наблюдаемых величин. Предложенный здесь метод может быть использован для исследования амплитуд в областях энергий и передаваемых импульсов, отличных от рассмотренных в этой работе.
