Summary
We have calculated the charge transfer distributions and its dispersions in single and double diffractive excitation models and compared them with experimental results of pp collisions at 205 GeV/c. The double diffractive excitation model is closer to the experimental data, but we like to emphasize that, on the basis of diffractive excitation models alone, it is impossible to explain the overall charge transfer in multiparticle reactions.
