Summary

A test of the ΔSQ selection rule in K 0μ3 decay was performed using optical spark chambers. K0-mesons were produced by 3 GeV/c π in the reaction πp→ΛK0. 100 events with proper decay times between 0.5 and 6.5 K 0 s lifetimes were analysed to give a ratio of the ΔS=−ΔQ to ΔSQ amplitudes Rex′=0.04 +0.10−0.13 , Imx′=0.12 +0.17−0.16 .

Si è eseguita una verifica della regola di selezione ΔSQ nel decadimento K 0μ3 usando camere a scintille ottiche. I mesoni K0 erano prodotti da π di 3 GeV/c nella reazione π→ΛK0. Si sono analizzati 100 eventi con tempi di decadimento propri compresi tra 0.5 e 6.5 vite medie del K 0 s ottenendo un rapporto delle ampiezze ΔS=−ΔQ e ΔSQ Rex′=0.04 +0.10−0.13 , Imx′=0.12 +0.17−0.16 .
