Gauge-covariant vacuum expectations and glueballs

Summary

We exploit the geometric properties of the background field method to formulate a gauge-covariant computation of the glueball mass in pure Yang-Mills. To see how the plan works we carry it out from first principles in an “infinite spin” limit.
