Sur les ondes de discontinuités dans un fluide visqueux relativiste

Résumé

On examine l'influence des processus de dissipation dus à la viscosité sur la propagation de discontinuités dans un fluide relativiste dans le contexte de la thermodynamique irreversible étendue. Sous une convenable approximation physique on met en évidence, outre les ondes matérielles, deux types d'ondes: ondes longitudinales et ondes transversales.

Summary

We study the influence of a dissipative process, due to the viscosity, on the propagation of weak discontinuities in a relativistic fluid in the context of the extended irreversible thermodynamics. Under a suitable physical approximation we show the possibility of three modes of propagation: the first one is the contact discontinuity, the other two are, respectively, like longitudinal and transverse waves.
