A 2-D adaptive Y, C separator for the PAL TV signals

Abstract

A PAL 2-D Adaptive separating method which is adaptive to image edge directions at local areas is proposed. Configuration and parameters of the system are discussed, and results by some experimental work and by computer simulation are also given.
