We can therefore conclude that the quality of Kp phase shifts available at present is not sufficient to draw any reliable conclusions about the ω-flip contribution to K\(\mathcal{N}\) scattering. In particular there is no reliable evidence for ImBω being appreciably different from zero and negative near t⋍−0.5 (GeV)2, which would have required a zero in ImBω at very small values oft rather difficult to reproduce with absorptive Regge-pole models. One must wait for more experimental data (in particular K±p polarization and K n 0 p→K 1 o p polarization and differential cross-section) before sound results can be obtained from FESR analyses of Kp phase shifts.
