A Search for a β-active5H

Summary

A search has been made, for a β-active5H, produced on a7Li target by the 1000 MeV Υ-ray bremsstrahlung beam of the Frascati synchrotron. We obtained a negative result, and we put a higher limit for the production cross-section of (1.3±0.4).10−31 cm2 in disagreement with the results previously reported by Nefkens.
