The Dirac-like equation in phase space as a phenomenological model for families of spin-1/2 baryons

  • Published:
Lettere al Nuovo Cimento (1971-1985)

Summary

The Dirac-like equation recently reformulated in phase space is shown to yield a mass formula in satisfactory quantitative agreement with experimental data for families of baryons. The proposed theoretical scheme gives also the possibility of calculating the radii of spin-1/2 baryons, which are found to be of the order of 1 fm.
