Summary
Proofs have been given that the capabilities of necessary conditions, affected by divergences, for negative bound-state energies can be re-established and enhanced by taking into account suitable length scales. Such scales are able to regularize the underlying divergent integrals, while establishing typical structures and useful approximations for the ground-state energies. So far, power potentials have been considered.
