    It may be objected that it is inconsistent to include the possibility of a singular residue while neglecting possible contributions of branch points to asymptotic behavior. We therefore remark that the «π+ω» branch point is the important one for the residue function, whereas the «ρ+P» branch point is the important one for asymptotic behavior. It is possible that the «ρ+P» branch point be quite weak.Google Scholar
