Antiproton-proton charge-exchange differential cross-sections between 50 and 180 MeV

Summary

The angular distribution of the charge-exchange reaction\(\bar pp \to \bar nn\) has been measured for antiprotons of kinetic energy between 50 and 180 MeV. The measurement is based on 215 events in which the annihilation star of the antineutron is detected. The results are compared with the existing theoretical models.

Si è misurata la distribuzione angolare della reazione di scambio carica\(\bar pp \to \bar nn\) per antiprotoni di energia cinetica tra 50 e 180 MeV. La misura è basata su 215 eventi in cui viene rivelata la stella di annichilazione dell'antineutrone. Si fa il confronto dei risultati ottenuti con i modelli teorici esistenti.

Было измерено угловое распределение реакции\(\bar pp \to \bar nn\) с обменом зарядов для антипротонов с кинетической энергией между 50 и 180 МэВ.
