Meson spectra in a quark potential model with relativistic kinematics

Summary

We calculate the masses of light and heavy mesons using a potential in two different wave equations incorporating relativistic kinematics. The potential includes spin-spin, spin-orbit, and tensor terms. We find that we obtain rather good results for heavy mesons, but that the masses of light mesons are quite sensitive to the form of the wave equation used.
