Martine Brunschwig Graf (Switzerland) State Counsellor with responsibility for public education, member of the Government of the Republic and Canton of Geneva. Trained as an economist. Assistant, then Deputy Secretary and later French-speaking Switzerland Secretary of the Society for the Development of the Swiss Economy. Elected to the Government of Geneva in 1993. Responsible for education and training from nursery school to university level and for cultural affairs. Member of the Federal Commission of Specialist High Schools and of the Council of Federal Polytechnic Schools.
