Eta suppression and the quark model for particle ratios

Summary

A generalization of the additive quark model applied to multiparticle production is reconciled with the suppression of η and η′ mesons by postulating the dominance of resonances in the central region. A number of consequences are discussed.

Si fa combinare una generalizzazione del modello aggiunto a quark applicato alla produzione di più particelle con la soppressione dei mesoni η e η’ postulando la dominanza delle risonanze nella regione centrale. Si discutono un certo numero di conseguenze.

Обобшение аддитивной модели кварков, применяемой к многочастичному рождению, приводится в соответствие с подавлением η и η′ меэонов, посредством постулирования доминантности реэонансов в центральной области. Обсуждается ряд следствий зтого подхода.
