Summary

Half—off-shellt-matrix elements for a variety of ΛNS-wave energy-dependent central potentials and for the potential of Dalitz, Herndon and Tang are presented. On the basis of a comparison of these matrix elements and the corresponding values ofD, the Λ binding energy in nuclear matter, it is concluded that the relation between the half—off-shellt-matrix elements and the values ofD is not a trivial one.
