Pion polarizabilities

Summary

Pion polarizabilities are studied as they enter the low-energy expansion of Compton scattering and the energy shift in an external field. After a general discussion, various model calculations are performed.

Riassunto

Si studia come entrino nell’espansione a bassa energia dello scattering di Compton e nello spostamento energetico in un campo esterno le polarizzabilità elettromagnetiche del pione. Accanto ad una discussione generale, si fanno vari calcoli nell’ambito di vari modelli.
