Summary
The spin lattice relaxation timeT1 has been measured in liquid3He from 1.1 to 3 °K at its saturated pressure. The results indicated a sharp increase ofT1 decreasing the temperature below 1.4 °K. This behaviour cannot be accounted for by the Bloembergen, Purcell and Pound theory.
