Self-consistent stationary models of 2D barred galaxies

In this paper, we present the first steps towards a construction of two-dimensional stationary stellar distributions in phase space which are self-consistent and that exhibit some general features of barred galaxies. Moreover, it will be shown that these models satisfy a particularly simple no-spiral theorem.
