Lorentz analysis of dual-resonance models in operator formalism

Summary

We analyse nonspurious resonance states with a given spin in a Lorentz-covariant framework; these states are chosen to be those diagonalizing the nonspurious part of propagators. Physical states with spinning particles are then constructed with the help of the symmetric three-resonance vertex; they satisfy the usual gauge conditions and duality properties. These states can then be used to construct Veneziano amplitudes for spinning particles consistent with the scalar-particle model.
