Zener relaxations in magnesium-indium alloys

An exploratory investigation of damping spectra in alloys of the Mg-In system shows a series of relaxation peaks which can be attributed to Zener relaxations. The interesting requirement is that some of these peaks must arise in partially ordered phases.


Un esame esplorativo degli spettri di smorzamento nelle leghe del sistema Mg-In mostra una serie di picchi di rilassamento che possono essere attribuiti ai rilassamenti di Zener. La cosa interessante è che alcuni di questi picchi di Zener possono insorgere in fasi parzialmente ordinate.
