Summary

Symmetry properties of nonlinear dielectric tensors in crystals are considered. In particular, symmetry properties which arise in nonabsorbing nondispersive media are discussed by means of an essentially thermodynamic procedure.

Si discutono le proprietà di simmetria dei tensori dielettrici nei cristalli. In particolare si dimostra, con considerazioni di tipo termodinamico, l’esistenza di un’ulteriore proprietà di simmetria per mezzi non dispersivi e non assorbenti.
