The fano-lichten model in the Ar+-Ar collisions

Summary

Collisions of Ar+-Ar for energies in the range of (6÷400) keV are analysed according to the molecular model. A new scheme is presented which differs from the Fano-Lichten model by an additional excitation of a 2s-electron. In this way good agreement with experiment is obtained.

В соответствии с молекулярной моделью аналиэируются соударения Ar+-Ar для знергий в области (6÷400) кзВ. Предлагается новая схема, которая отличается от модели Фано-Лихтена дополнительным воэбуждением 2s-злектрона. Таким путем получается хорощее согласие с зкспериментом.

Riassunto

Le collisioni Ar+-Ar sono esaminate secondo il modello molecolare (modello di Fano-Lichten). L’introduzione di un elettrone 2s nello schema di eccitazione della regione dei picchi permette di ottenere un migliorato accordo tra teoria ed esperimento.
