Nuclear distortion effects on nucleons emitted by pion absorption

Summary

Nuclear distortion effects are investigated for the absorption rate of pions by nucleon pairs in light nuclei, accompanied by the emission of the pairs. The W.K.B. method is used for taking account of the distortion effects on the emitted nucleons. The real part of the optical potential in the distortion factor does not play an important role as far as the integrated absorption rate concerned.

Влияние ядерного искажения на нуклоны, испускаемые в реэультате поглошения пионов

Реэюме

Исследуется влияние искажения ядер на скорость поглошения пионов нуклонными парами в легких ядрах, которое сопровождается испусканием пар. Испольэуется метод В.К.Б., чтобы учесть влияние искажения на испускаемые нуклоны. Вешественная часть оптического потенциала в факторе искажения не играет сушественной роли, до тех пор, пока рассматривается интегральная скорость поглошения.

Riassunto

Si studiano gli effetti di distorsione nucleare sul rapporto di assorbimento di pioni da parte di coppie di nucleoni nei nuclei leggeri, con successiva emissione delle coppie. Si usa il metodo di W.K.B. per tenere conto degli effetti di distorsione sui nucleoni emessi. La parte reale del potenziale ottico nel fattore di dispersione non svolge un ruolo importante per quanto concerne il rapporto di assorbimento integrato.
