Man-made vibrations, tremors and earthquakes

Abstract

Different kinds of man-made vibrations, tremors and earthquakes, the magnitudes of which may reach 6.4, are considered as compared with those natural ones. It is recommended to elaborate real economical calculations both for anti-seismic as well as normal constructions of the same high and big investment object, the exploitation of which have to persist longer period of time, with reference to location of the object and to tectonical seams of the great orogens as well as of smaller tectonic blocks, which are interconnected in the Earth’s crust.
