Summary

Three Pterocarpus species were subjected to extraction with hot water, benzene-alcohol, and etter. The extracted samples were investigated with respect to their loss of weight and elasticity due to fungus attack. It was found that to the unknown Pterocarpus wood P. macrocarpus is most similar.
