Zusammenfassung

Im Anschluß an eine frühere Arbeit von D. Narayanamurti und N. R. Das untersuchten die Verfasser die Inhaltsstoffe der in Indien vorkommenden HolzartenAcacia catechu, Dalbergia sissoo undTectona grandis. Zur Extraktioin wurden Heißwasser, Alkohol-Benzol und Äther, in einzelnen Fällen auch Methanol verwendet. Das hauptsächliche Augenmerk liegt auf der Verteilung der gefundenen Inhaltsstoffe über Höhe und Querschnitt der Probestämme. Die jeweils gefundenen Konzentrationen sind in 6 Tabellen zusammengestellt und werden ausführlich erläutert.

Summary

Following a former paper of D. Narayanamurti and N. R. Das, the authors investigated the contents of the Indian wood species Acacia catechu, Dalbergia sissoo, and Tectona grandis. For the extraction, hot water, alcohol-benzene, and ether, in some cases also methanol, were used. Main attention is given to the distribution of the contents found in height and diameter of the trees. The individual concentrations found are compiled in 6 tables and discussed in detail.
