Eignung der Blockscher-Prüfmethode zur Beurteilung der Verleimungsqualität von Spanplatten

Zusammenfassung

Die bislang übliche Querzugfestigkeitsprüfung an Spanplatten besitzt bezüglich des Joch-Materials, des prüftechnischen und des Zeitaufwandes deutliche Mängel. Da auch die Druckfestigkeitsprüfung keine ausreichende Alternative darstellt, wird die Blockscher-Festigkeitsprüfung als bestgeeignete Methode vorgeschlagen. Aus dem Vergleich der statistischen Kenn-werte, die aus der Parallelprüfung von je 3190 Querzung-bzw. Blockscherproben ermittelt wurden, läßt sich eine gute Korrelation zwischen Querzung- und Scherfestigkeit ableiten. Da die Scherfestigkeitsprüfung eine etwas höhere Trennschärfe und vor allem eindeutige prüftechnische Vorteile besitzt, wird das Blockscher-Verfahren zur Prüfung der Verleimungsqualität als künftig einzusetzendes Verfahren vorgeschlagen.

Summary

The commonly applied tensile strength tests perpendicular to the particleboard face entail considerable disadvantages with regard to the yoke material, the testing requirements, and the wasting of time. Since compression strength tests offer no satisfying alternative, the block shear test is proposed to be the most suitable method of testing. By comparing the statistical characteristics obtained from check-up tests of 3190 tensile strength and block shear specimens, a good correlation can be deduced between tensile strength and shear strength. As shear strength tests imply a higher degree of selectivity, and especially clear testing advantages, the block shear method is considered the most suitable method of testing the bonding strength of particleboard.
