Über das Einspannen und die Einspannvorrichtungen für Gattersägeblätter

Zusammenfassung

Praxisnahe Untersuchungen ergaben, daß das Einspannen der Sägeblätter in den Gatterrahmen nicht zufridenstellend ist. Dies beruht in erster Linie auf dem menschlichen Faktor. Es ist nämlich nicht möglich, von Hand die gleiche Einspannkraft für alle Blätter oder Einhänge zu erreichen. Die mechanischen Anordnungen, die für das Spannen verwendet werden, weisen stark schwankende Reibungsverhältnisse auf. Dadurch entstehen weitere Schwankungen der Blattkräfte. Dies gilt sowhol für mechanische als auch hydraulische Spannvorrichtungen und ist auch die Ursache dafür, daß die Verwendung von Momentenschlüsseln (Spannschlüsseln) keine nennenswerte Verbesserung erbrachte. Die verschiedenen Angeltypen besitzen unterschiedliche Empfindlichkeit und ergeben verschieden große Blattkräfte. Von den verwendeten Typen scheinen Schraubenangeln am vorteilhaftesten zu sein.

The article stresses the fact that there exist rather dissatis-factory conditions at the setting of blades in a frame saw. The fundamental reason is that it is impossible for a man to produce by his hands the same force in one blade compared to another blade from time to time. The mechanical devices used in this operation also show that there are extremely varying friction conditions, and as a result there will be a still greater variance in the forces of the blades, a phenomenon which applies to mechanical as well as hydraulic devices. Under such circumstances even the use of torgometers do not make things much better. Different types of stretching irons differ in their stretching capacity and thus give different pulling strain.

To judge from the types tested it seems that the so-called screw stretching iron will be the most profitable one.
