Summary
The at present mostly applied industrial processes for surface-treatments of wood-fiber hardboards are described, and the variety of finishing possiblities briefly shown. So it is possible nowadays, to produce surfaces of exellent quality, on one hand by application of high-grade basic materials (e. g. hardboards and lacquers), and by best manufacturing on the other, a fact which opened the woodfiber-hardboard in the last years, wide and paying fields of application.
