Zusammenfassung

In der Möbelerzeugung unterliegen Materialauswahl und Fertigungstechnik ständiger Anapassung und dynamischer Entwicklung. Die Bedeutung von Holz und Holzwerk stoffen als trangede Elemente oder als Dekoration von Flächen nimmt zu. Verbesserungen der Vorprodukte aus Holz und der Fertigungshilfswerkstoffe werden erwartet. Design und Qualitätsprüfung bekommen zunehmend Bedeutung. Das Marketing der Einrichtungswirtschaft muß sich auf den aufgeklärten Konsumenten einstellen. Der Verdrängungswettbewerb auf einem schnell gewachsenen Markt, Konzentrationen und geänderte Finanzstrukturen werden die Marktanpssung nicht erleichtern. Der Wunsch der Menschen nach einer “Insel des Wohnenes” wird die Zukunft der Möbelwirtschaft mittragen.

Abstract

Selection of material and technology of production are subject to continuous adaptation and dynamics of development in a furniture manufacturing. Wood and wood based materials used as bearing parts and decortative surface elements achieve steadily increasing importance. Improvement of wooden prefabs and auxiliary materials is expected. Design und quality control as well gain more and more significance. Marketing in the furnture branch has to be adapted to the requirements of an informed consumer. Substitutive competition in a rapidly growing market, trade concentrations and changing financial structures will not facilitate the adjustament to the market. The human desire for an “island of living” seems to become the supporting force for the future of the furniture branch.
