Die Frischimprägnierung von Masten aus Fichten- und Tannenholz nach dem Saftverdrängungsverfahren

Zusammenfassung

Die Saftfrisch-Tränkung der Fichte hat bei Anwendung des Trogsaug-, Kesseldrucksaug- und Stapelsaugverfahrens durch den Wegfall der beiden Hauptnachteile des Boucherie-Verfahrens, nämlich der langen Tränkdauer und des Abtropfverlustes am Zopf, einen bedeutenden Aufschwung erfahren, und zwar nicht nur in Deutschland, sondern auch in hohem Maße im Ausland. In absehbarer Zeit wird sich dies in den Lebensdauererfahrungen in erfreulichem Maße abzeichnen.

Summary

The sap-freshimpregnation of spruce has been subject to an important rise when applicating the trough-, pressure-and pile-suction-process by omitting the two main disadvantages of the Boucherie-process, viz. the long time of soaking and the dripping loss at the top-end. This did not only take place in Germany but also to a high degree in foreign countries. The present paper describes the development of the impregnation-processes mentioned above. The respective improvements are discussed and examined by practical tests. Results show the increased effectiveness of these new methods.
