Résumé

Les auteurs présentent la méthodologie employée pour cartographier le fond d'une ballastière. Les étapes successives comprennent le relevé des profils par écho-sondage, puis par système micro-informatisé, leur quantification aboutissant à un réseau régulier de données et à sa cartographie automatique.

Abstract

The authors present the methodology employed for mapping the gravel-pit floor. The successive steps include the plotting of the ground profile by means of an echo-sounder, then its quantification by a micro-informatic system, permitting a regular data lattice and an automatic mapping.
