Summary

The problem to represent the probability degree of a geological interpretation is pointed out for the case of tunnel studies. For the cases of difficult interpretation conditions of the geological characteristics, the authors suggest to the geologist to represent graphically in the report the possible variation of certain geological features critical for the project.

Résumé

Le problème de la représentation du degré de probabilité d'une interprétation géologique est posé pour le cas des études de tunnels. Dans le cas où les conditions d'interprétation des caractéristiques géologiques sont délicates, les auteurs suggèrent au géologue de représenter graphiquement dans son rapport la variation possible de la position de certaines discontinuités géologiques critiques pour le projet.
