Abstract

A method was developed for the synthesis of cis-10-hydrox-1methyl(aryl)-Δ 2,3-octahhydro-4-quinolinones by the cyclization of 1-[cis-3-N-methyl(aryl)aminoacryloyl]-1,2-epoxycyclohexanes.
