Chemistry of Heterocyclic Compounds Aims and scope

Abstract

A new method is proposed for the synthesis of substitituted 2,5-diazabicyclo[2.2.1]heptanes from 1-(tert-butoxycarbonyl)-4-tosyloxy-2-(tosyloxymethyl)pyrrolidine.1H NMR spectroscopy indicated multiple conformations of 2-(tert-butoxycarbonyl)-2,5-diazabicyclo[2.2.1]heptanes in solution.
